Waffle Shop is an unusual late-night waffle emporium in Pittsburgh's East Liberty neighborhood that celebrates the stories and lives of its customers through the production of a weekly reality show. At Waffle Shop our customers are also our stars as we film each night inviting interested patrons to express their unique opinions and personalities. These recordings are produced into weekly episodes, which are broadcast publicly in the windows of the storefront and through our podcast (coming soon). In addition to selling great homemade waffles, Waffle Shop is an experimental platform for community participation and local media production.
